One Nation Under Debt!
If the credit card companies had their
way....
... our flag would look like a credit card,
instead of stars and stripes
...and this would be our Pledge of
Allegiance:
One nation under debt
....inescapable
....with penalties and interest for all.
Wouldn’t that just be “priceless”!

millions and millions of dollars
to get your Congress to change the

And...guess what...there
wish came true...or so they
thought.
Congress
passed and the President signed
into law a new bankruptcy bill
that was meant to really put a
hurt on your right to file
bankruptcy...at least that's
what they meant to do.
Why did they do it?
So that the credit
card companies could
squeeze you...and your family...even more.
Why would they want to do that?
Because making huge profits off of you (30
billion just last year) is
not enough.
They want every last dime you have, and...it's
clear...they
don’t care what happens to your family.
Think about it.
What happens in the future when they squeeze
you so hard, you can’t even pay for your car
or home.
When you lose your car...how will you get to
work?
When you lose your home...where will you
live?
When they keep calling your at work...no
matter what...how long before you lose your
job?
When you can’t pay the bills,
they thought, and you can’t get
help from bankruptcy,
...how will you ever re-build your credit?
But...something went
horribly wrong.
As it turns out, the new, big,
bad bankruptcy law ain't that
bad.
As it turns out, you can do
almost everything under the new
law that you could under the old
law. The truth is
that...in some ways...the new
bankruptcy law even increases
